CONSULTATIONS

Are you a dance/movement therapist trying to advocate for our profession in a more medical setting? Are you trying to figure out how to apply our modality to the virtual space?

Or are you an LMHCA associate in Washington state looking for personalized support in transitioning into private practice and you don't know what your options are? Or maybe you've gotten started and don't know where to go next?

How I can help.

From my clinical internships and employment in community mental health and intensive outpatient programs, through 4 years as an associate navigating private practice and now as an independently licensed clinician, I have several years of experience in answering those questions above. I wasn't alone in figuring all that out and you don't have to be, either. If you're curious about your options and next steps, send me an email and we can explore together.

For $75/hr, I offer you guided resources on the areas below. This isn't therapy; it's directive coaching and body doubling to become closer to the therapist you'd like to be - the one you know you are.

**Please note that this service is not meant to take the place of supervision and will not count towards supervision hours**

Private practice start-up

I can provide resources, guides, and a live sounding board on how to start a private practice, whether it's as an associate or fully licensed clinician. I can share my experience with you on navigating everything from how to set up the business to how you'd like to be accessible to clients and everything in between.

Telehealth support

Even if you aren't a dance therapist, support for therapists practicing via telehealth is crucial. I can offer my insights and study into sustainable self-care practices before, during, and after virtual sessions so that you can feel your best even from afar.

Dance/movement therapy integration

I can provide ideas for intervention adaptations in a variety of settings, speaking to my experiences with outpatient telehealth as well as community mental health and other medical settings. This way you aren't lost or feeling like you have to "reinvent the wheel".
