How I can help.
From my clinical internships and employment in community mental health and intensive outpatient programs, through 4 years as an associate navigating private practice and now as an independently licensed clinician and board-certified dance and movement therapist, I have several years of experience in answering those questions above. I wasn't alone in figuring all that out and you don't have to be, either. If you're curious about your options and next steps, send me an email and we can explore together.
For $90/hr, I offer you guidance the areas below. This isn't therapy; it's supervision to support you becoming closer to the therapist you'd like to be - the one you know you are.
Private practice
I can provide resources and support on how to set yourself up for success as a dance therapist in your own practice. I can share my experience with you on navigating everything from how to set up the business to how you'd like to be accessible to clients and everything in between, as well as providing the necessary oversight required by the ADTA to count your private practice hours.
Telehealth support
For dance therapists, support for therapists practicing via telehealth is crucial. I can offer my insights and study into sustainable self-care practices before, during, and after virtual sessions so that you can feel your best even from afar, as well as ways to adapt your interventions and move through the change in therapeutic relationship.
DMT integration
I can provide ideas for intervention adaptations in a variety of settings, speaking to my experiences with outpatient telehealth as well as community mental health and other medical settings. This way you aren't lost or feeling like you have to "reinvent the wheel".
If you're preparing to apply for board certification, congratulations! Maybe you just need more supervision hours, or you need someone to help go through the application requirements, or you need a reviewer for your essays. Since I have just completed this process as part of the 2026 application season, I can provide you support from recent experience.
